Snowflake eel in ribbon eel together

I have a snowflake eel in my tank currently right now and my local fish store has a ribbon eel in right now I was wondering can both of them go into the same tank or no?

Yes provided it's at least a 6' tank and you understand the difficulties in caring for a ribbon eel.
