Good thing you didn't complete the split.

My wife took a similar slip on her soggy deck at her apartment. She did a complete split, a less than limber 40ish woman shouldn't be doing splits. She felt some pain in that leg for awhile, got it check out, must just be some kind of pulled muscle. She went to the doctors another time saying it was getting hard to walk. Of course, they get a lot of drug seekers up here, so she wasn't taken seriously.

One night her pain was very bad and her leg was swelled a bit. I took her to the ER, blood clot in her leg. She had to get on a med regiment for that until it dissolved.

I like how your dog just casually happened to check the high-chair for crumbs as he walked by. Our dog used to do the same thing when we had babies. :-)

Thank you, and yeah she is part of my real life CUC also, although she is usually the one who is making the mess to begin with. She's understands when we tell her to throw stuff in the trash, since she was like 1 years old.

They grow up so fast so enjoy every minute.. it seems like just yesterday that my daughter was that age and now she is 30 ;Facepalm

Great recovery! No shouted expletives, no throwing pieces of the step stool, didn't rip the crotch of your jeans in two, and your voice doesn't seem to be three octaves higher than it should be. Much better outcome than if I had done it. :D
