so this guy makes a reappearance after several months

so we thought this watchman goby was dead because we didn't see him for about a month. we got a sand sifting goby to replace him that lasted about 3 days till we found him outside the tank. He made a break for it but sadly didn't know about land. so another couple of months go by and I was going to wait to add another fish until I got my nutrients balanced. i was dealing with a cyano outbreak. bought a UV sterilizer and a new protein skimmer. Also replenished the copepod population. any way long story short, everything is back in balance and this guys re-emerged!

Ha! I had a Randall’s goby disappear for about a month and a half, I was getting ready to pick a new fish and walked by the tank one day - there he was, fat and happy in the front of the tank. It is certainly weird when they do something like that!

Haha they do that that’s for sure. I have a yasha and a peppermint pistol hide for months at a time.
