What are the chances you hook up a 24/7 livestream of this gorgeous tank or at least do some YouTube videos?
Has anyone had luck setting up a livestream of their aquarium from a GoPro (mine is a “Hero8”)? When I travel, I miss my aquarium meditation time daily - LOL! If. Have a livestream, I could apple play/chromecast to the hotel tv to get my tank fix! :)
It says you have to have 50 subs to livestream at all, so I’m only 7 subs away, so feel free to check out the looped recorded footage I posted and he’ll, if you want to subscribe and see the finished product, go for it! It’s public and I’ve got nothing to hide! ‍♂️

Any tips on successful live-streaming would be appreciated!

In trying to get this set up quickly, I missed the opportunity to take many more pics of this build but happy with results.
Dont worry- the 135g was taken down - I have no room for a bunch of tanks. . LOL
To fill those who follow me in- My house in Florida suffered some damage from recent Florida Hurricane. While not extensive, I cannot move in until roof properly repaired and entire floor replaced. I could not get down there right away to assess, and was able to talk to a repair person from the area once i arrived.
Problem is, I am now on a waiting list- Everyone is on a waiting list and he cannot get to me for a couple of months. I had no intention of taking the 135g down there (which is now for sale). So, I figured get rid of it before I get new move estimates and set the 400g and assure no leaks or surprises and since it will be 3 or more months- hopefully less- and Run the tank.

So I had the tank shipped up to me and here is what FedEx freight managed to do:

Studs were missing, plumbing busted and as you can see- Forklift damage and structural damage !!

OMG! I feel for you on all accounts… but what an amazing job you did fixing it. So well done I’m having trouble to understand how they could manage so much “accidental” damage. Do they employ blind people to operate their forklifts? I hope you get everything sorted out soon with your house and thumbs up for managing the situation yourself

Used your method to introduce a Desjardin Tang to my tank. I will be darned if it didn't work great.
Already have a blonde naso, powder blue, purple, whitetail bristletooth and a hippo in the tank. There fish were surprised to see the new addition when the lights came on and the was a little aggression towards the new comer. After a day only the purple tang was being a jerk. After a week they are all swimming together. Will try to get a photo of all of them together.

Does this thing track long term? Like send data to your phone in a graph format or anything along those lines? Or is it purely limited to instant measurements?
Instant readings and continuous display

Can the probes go in the sump, or do they need to go into the main tank? Would love to add something like this.
Mine in the tank but I believe both

You must have some nasty water for a reef tank. Lots of filters. How often do you change those? Where is the saltwater mixing tank, or the RO tank?

Nice clean setup. I really like the long hose to reach the tank. Gonna have to add that to my setup.
