Soft coral id

So ive got a few of these popping up around my tank... they seem like soft tissue corals

Looks like a type of red macroalgae not sure name though.

Reposting the pic.... i dont think its algae... it seems to be plating outward

Hmm, pretty cool! It does look like a macro algae. I've never seen any kind of soft coral that plates like that. Maybe a sponge? @Lionfish Lair maybe able to help.
