Very interesting indeed. It seems to me that the higher the nitrate to phosphate ratio is the less nuisance algae is present in the tank.

The delight is definitely one of my most delightful pieces lol

Cool Fish Alert!!

I managed to snag myself a yellow banded possum wrasse! I been wanting one for awhile and I finally managed to find a nice specimen. It’s been super chill in my 125 and has been cruising around the rockwork hunting for pods. I saw it eat mysis at the store and bagged it up! Can’t wait until it becomes less shy and starts coming out more!

I also recently ordered some fauna marin products to try.

So this will be fun to see how these additional additives treat the corals. It seems like there is not of fauna marin presence in the US as I had to order through a Canadian vendor.

Are you mixing the coral booster and flatworm stop or dosing them separately? I’m about to start dosing them both and would like to throw them both on the same doser if possible.

I dose them separately. I'm not sure if there would be any interaction between both if you were to mix them together.

The MinS product is amazing! It was the most immediate reaction I’ve ever seen in a coral food product. Within minutes every lps coral in the tank had it’s feeder tentacles out. The sps seemed to be reacting as well as they contracted their polyps.
We’ll see how everything goes in the long run.

QUICK NON SPS ANNOUCEMENT


Introducing THE THING!!!
This is THE MOST YELLOW coral I've seen. It's more yellow than a Costco Microfiber towel for all those who have used those before. It's just so frickin bright!!
The gnarly thing about this piece is the yellow gradient and transition from the yellow to the red and then blue. This THING is absolutely nuts and probably the nicest coral in my collection

That would be awesome, I wouldn't mind trying some of this product. The new fauna Marin stuff seems to be of high quality as well. Only time will tell how the corals react, but I have high hopes!
