I noticed this ulceration on my scoly this evening. I was home at lunch and it appears normal. So something must have gotten to it since lunch time. No fish in DT right now. Going fallow. I have a branch hammer to 2-3 inches to the left of this scoly. This happened to another scoly of mine last week. What do you think is causing this? Thanks

Yes. 1 shrimp, a few hermit crabs and a few snails. I have not seen the shrimp come over to where the scolys are. The only time I see it come close to the scolys is when I am feeding the scolys.

I was thinking the same thing. But this happened during the afternoon. I thought corals send out their sweepers at night...

They can send sweepers anytime of day. I've had some reach over 7"

Have not seen any Eunicid worm. To be safe I'll probably move the Duncan and hammer away from the scolys...

I have a few of these guys
