For some reason lately my purple hammer has not been opening up fully. Today I noticed a few of the hammers from the tips of the soft tissue are falling off. You can see in the pic below that there is a white ring around some of the polyps (center of pic). Now the two frogspawn are also not opening up very well. Does anyone know what this is, pest or fungus?

What is your cal, alk and mag at?

I think you nailed it. Alk was low at 6. Calcium is at 440 and mag is at 1400. I started using Alk 8.3 from bright well aquatics last night. I retested this morning and it is at 7. I added some more Alk 8.3. I will check again this afternoon. Hopefully everything is fine.

I have managed to get the Alk. Up to 7.5-8. The corals don't look any different. They opened up a little more today.
