Hey guys so I noticed that my gold torch had white areas on the hard part of it. I believe i noticed this a few days ago but I didn’t think much of it. Is it a bleaching torch?? I’ve never heard of anything like it

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

(He’s mad at me because I was messing with him and he doesn’t look like a gold torch in full light lol)

It' not bleaching it' where the flesh has pulled up shrunk away from the skeleton....generally a bad sign.

Do you have any asterina starfish in your tank? Recently I discovered they were eating that soft tissue on some of my euppyllias leading to some heads dying off and others in the verge. I went out and picked up a harlequin shrimp tonight to put a stop to them.

I haven’t seen any Asteria stars in my tank in a while but that could be a possibility he is fully open and looks healthy though
