Something wrong with Toadstool

Anyone know what’s wrong with my toadstool? I just moved him to the other side of the tank a few days ago

Looks like it's about to split (propagate). In a few days to a few weeks the hole will get bigger and a piece will break off.

Mine did the same now i have 2 for the price of 1

Mine is doing it from like opposite sides. Is that unusual or is it going to split twice

What does it look like after it splits? Does the edge that split go back to normal

And what caused the toadstool to split? Does the size of mine have anything to do with it

Mine is an exact copy of the parent. Toadstools are strange sometimes mine shrivels up for a couple days then looks awesome

Yeah my toadstool is sometimes a wanker. It’ll shrivel up too and I’m like what the heck is wrong with this guy then the next day he’s huge and open

They are so resilient i had a major tank crash thought everything was dead it was the only thing that servived little blob on a piece of live rock
