Working on the stock list for my big build. I'm just wondering, anyone have one of these fish? How are they in terms of behavior and mannerisms? I've read that they eat inverts, and will even pick parasites off other fish. With an eel and trigger, inverts are out anyways. Sounds like it might be an interesting addition. If I can ever find one.

I don’t have one now, but I’ve had them in the past. Typical big hogfish, likes lots of swimming room. Reaches about 16” IIRC. What about a Cuban hog? Smaller and more colorful IMO.

It's a 230 gallon, so lots of room. But you're right about the Cuban being more colorful. Smaller isn't a bad thing either, less likely to cause problems.
