I have a spare 40 gallon breeder, and I am toying with the idea of doing a very simple FOWLR with just two or three fish, zero corals.

What fish would you put in?

Yah, definitely would have one of those. What else would go well with it, do you think? Flame hawkfish, some kind of wrasse too?

Dwarf angelfish (a few to choose from). Flame hawkfish would be good and maybe sixline wrasse

I'm liking these ideas. Everybody a little more on the pushy side; very different from the peaceful reefs I usually keep.

If I went with the flame hawk, I think I'd go coral beauty for the angel for the contrast
