Spirorbid Worms - Impossible to Avoid?

Every single tank I've started I've had to contend with spirorbid worms no matter how much I've tried to not intentionally introduce them - I am always careful to examine all my corals, and I started with base rock as well, but they always seem to be impossible to avoid - at least in my case.

Does anyone here have/had a tank that never had these critters?
