So I started Copper Power two days ago...On Wednesday. My female clown had maybe three spots when treatment started. Two days later and there are more spots. I feel significantly more. Even one on one of her stripes..so it looks dark. All three fish are acting i guess relatively normal. Appetite is surprised, but not as bad as when I used cupramine. This is so frustrating. Considering I started with cupramine (lost a tang 4 days into that treatment), then switched to TTM for the remaining three, and now onto Copper Power. No fish had signs or symptoms, other than the tang of course. I've had the clowns and firefish for over a year. I started dosing kanaplex too. Not sure why. Maybe I'm a little spooked that there are that much more spots...and the dark spot on the stripe. Thoughts?

I'll try and get better pictures. Took this with my Nexus 7. My gs5 is dead. Takes better pictures. I'll charge it up.

So the spot on its stripe is getting bigger this morning, less than 24 hours after I took the pictures posted above. Took these quick as I was heading out the door.

@reynaldoramon Does it look like cauliflower or cotton on the fish? Does it appear to be an external growth protruding out or something under the skin?

Lymphocystis:

Symptoms - Lymphocystis appears as a white or beige colored cauliflower-like growth that usually starts on the fins and spines and sometimes spreads to the body. Initially it may be small (looks like ich), and then grows in size (which is how you know it’s not ich). Lympho is a virus that many fish carry for life. Fortunately, it is rarely fatal or even harmful to the fish, and symptoms will come and go.

Treatment options - No known cure or treatment exists. However, feeding vitamin-enriched foods and maintaining pristine water conditions may expedite the “going away” process.

Why were my posts with my photos deleted? Or if they weren't I can't see them.

Posted photos last night and then like 2 hours ago. Always said reply successful and I could see them. Did I do something wrong with forum rules or something?

Hard to tell @Humblefish . I just took a video and some more pictures. And...he had some white stringy poop. Mean anything? Tonight my goal was to see them all eating good. So I threw everything I had at them. Fire fish and male clown ate maybe one BlackWorm. Everyone was real active and looking for food, even the female with the spots. But they are all very picky. Moved on to mysis shrimp. Fire fish at one. Male and female clown only ate one. Still everyone very active. Moved onto some LRS. No one ate. The female charged at a chunk, and grabbed it, but let it go without eating any. So then I moved onto brine with Spirulina. They all ate that. The female took a few big chunks and ate them. So I'm happy. Of course it had to be the last option I offered them. Now I'm about to do a WC and grab the excess food laying there. I'll upload the video and pictures from my phone in a bit. There is a light white dusting on the glass, I think from the kanaplex. At first I thought I was having a bacterial bloom in the water column, but on closer inspection it's only on the surfaces of things. Is that normal after kanaplex dosing. I dosed yesterday morning. I plan on dosing tomorrow morning again as the directions read.

White stringy poop = Intestinal worms. Sometimes Prazipro takes care of it; other times you have to resort to using metronidazole (exs. Seachem Metroplex, Metro-MS).

I have metroplex handy. I'll dose tonight. Would that explain spots?

As always @Humblefish, thank you. You're such a great resource. I've become quite fond to my pair of clowns. This could be it. Surprised nothing else in tank shows symptoms.

In order for intestinal worms to spread, another fish has to eat the white stringy poo.

I have to say, the affected clean is doing better today. Spots are less today. Very active Acting her normal self. Makes me happy. Still had slots, but less. Almost a week in copper. Third and last dose of kanaplex today. Continuing with metroplex every other day woth a dose tomorrow.
I want to add another fish. But am not sure. What do ya'll think? Wait until every thing clears up? Seems like the smart thing. But wonder what people have done.

Add another fish to the QT? Not a good idea, because you never know what disease the new fish might introduce. It might be something not so easily treatable.
