Springeri Damsel in 25 Gallon?

Hi everyone, I've read a few mixed things about Springeri Damsel, some of which might be attributed to misidentification. It generally sounds like they're reef safe so long as they have enough room. Would they cause issues with a few peaceful inhabitants that fill different niches, like shrimp gobies or possum wrasses, in a 25 gallon or is that asking for trouble? I appreciate any advice!

I've never owned one myself, but a friend of mine has. According to him, they need a lot of space, and 25 gallons would be too small. I wouldn't risk it, especially since you're planning to add peaceful fish to that tank – they could get nipped by the damsel.

I personally wouldn't get the damsel. They are known for being territorial. How much rock do you have in your tank and what other fish are you wanting to add to your tank?

This is a spare tank I use for observation that doesn't have rockwork yet. It would be relatively heavily scaped. Just a hypothetical because it would be cool to have a splash of blue. Thinking about some combo of yellow watchman or hi-fin red band goby, yellow cardinalfish, yellow or white-banded possum wrasse, and bimaculatus blenny. It would 3 or 4 total fish along with inverts and mix of softy/LPS/SPS.
