Was sold to a buddy of mine as a horn Coral, Polyps appear to be dark in color and are about 1/16th the size of any acro or monti polyps.. Horn coral in my book is usually sold as 2 corals. Either Merulina or Hydnophora..Which it does not appear to be either

Lower light darker color higher light, lighter color. Also mine does not grow fast very slow. Had mine almost 10 years and is about size of softball. It started off about the size you have. I have fragged it about 1000 times since everyone loves it.
