Looks like an encrusting monti but the polyps don't look normal. What was it marked as when you bought it?

I'm going with a montipora, I'm sure others will chime in.

It is a Blue Coral Heliopora. Although it forms a porous calcareous skeleton it is not really a hard coral but belongs to the Octocorals like leather corals.

OK now I have even more questions. How do I take care of it? My rock work go rearranged by jack *** Trigger. I noticed part of it was not covered but the ledge anymore and two days later it has started to develop some white spots and it was secreting a mucus over itself. DO I need to move it back under a ledge? There is no information about this little guy. Oh I bought it at a frag swap last year.
All I can find is it is threatened. I have had this thing for almost a year now with little growth and crappy conditions. Now that I started to get my tankback in shape it is doing this! It has responded well in the past to improved water conditions.
