Sorry if this is the wrong forum I’m on my phone. Need help with this sps finally got it to extend its polyps. Underside of coral is a pretty rich blue.

Looks like an encrusting monti but the polyps don't look normal. What was it marked as when you bought it?

It seems to like lower light as well . Bleaches easy but colors back up quickly

It is a Blue Coral Heliopora. Although it forms a porous calcareous skeleton it is not really a hard coral but belongs to the Octocorals like leather corals.

OK now I have even more questions. How do I take care of it? My rock work go rearranged by jack butt Trigger. I noticed part of it was not covered but the ledge anymore and two days later it has started to develop some white spots and it was secreting a mucus over itself. DO I need to move it back under a ledge? There is no information about this little guy. Oh I bought it at a frag swap last year.
All I can find is it is threatened. I have had this thing for almost a year now with little growth and crappy conditions. Now that I started to get my tankback in shape it is doing this! It has responded well in the past to improved water conditions.
