Holy cow, I never thought I would see this in person, let alone in my own fish tank, WOW!!!!

Story- went to feed my scoly's tonight and noticed some white dots on my tsa zombieland. I was like maaaan, what now (looked like bites!!!). Went on to feed the scoly's and other lps. When done, I said to myself, might as well check out this new sps drama. Oddly, the top of the water caught my eye. I was confused, I didn't feed any brown food pellets to the tank, but they were ALL over the surface of the water. Then I noticed them coming from the column so I looked around...and I was just SHOCKED! I had 3 sps spawn - TSA Twisted Sister, TSA Zombieland, and TSA Carolina Reaper.

That is so cool. Did you turn off filtration or anything?

I would find a way to see if you can get some to settle and grow. Low tech, maybe let them swirl around in a breeder net with some rubble or frag tiles on the bottom.
Likely too late, I think the roller filter would have gotten most. Going to just let it run and see what happens!

I do not. Just a 10h light cycle, nothing fancy.
My trochus snails would always spawn under my Kessils moon cycle. When I went to Radeon I have never seen them spawn and I still run the moon cycle, but I don’t like the Radeon moon lighting cycle at all.

I actually pulled my Radeons the other day and went back to my Kessils paired with my T5’s they just look so much nicer in the water. Than from Tidal Gardens was just on Reef Dude’s last video and they talked about him culturing urchins and a lot about coral spawning and some in the industry working on it. It was pretty interesting but I do like to listen to Than geek out on stuff like that lol

Very cool! I have had that happen before in the 90's. Recently woke up to a 150g's of milky water. It was a snail spawn with 30-40 of them going at it. Not much to do but watch. It took awhile to clear up.
