Hey guys! One of my acro colonies is going through some sort of stn and I'm not entirley sure why.

Tank is a 10g
Alk 7.4
No3 7ppm
Po4 ~ .03 - .1 somewhere between
Calcium 430
Mg 1320
Salinity 1.028
Ph 7.99
Temp 77f

These parameters have been pretty consistent i don't allow them to swing very much. Im not sure if the way it is dying back is an indicator of pests or parameter issues. This has formed on the coral over a period of about a month.

There's a small blue yellow tailed damselfish in the tank but I haven't noticed any coral nipping.

I’m just about to jump into the sps world myself so I am off no help but #reefsquad would be able to get you the best diagnosis and hopefully the right treatment! Good luck!

Not sure if it’s the issue but salinity is a touch high. Have you done an ICP? @billyocean

Have you checked for Acropora Eating Flatworms (AEF)?

Sincerely Lasse
