Ok so RODI installed and up and running . Also decided to pull outside line to skimmer and to my surprise things look a lot better. I have a feeling that being in Miami, skimmer was pulling in some nasties. For now alk will be my way of raising ph, however i will be adding a small refugium to last sump and considering adding a co2 scrubber.

Ok so day one of using my own rodi unit, and i just performed a small 15% water change. Also moved arround some stuff in the sump, to make room for a refugium. Hoping this helps with PH a bit. Also been using metasorb for the last week, just in case of any metals are present in the tank. Alk is still holding steady at 7.1-7.3, po4 at .05 and na3 same 15ppm. Here is some skimmer action

I have checked thoroughly for pest day and night. Also, checked for stray current. Last ICP was done in Sep, and showed high Zinc a low Iodine nothing else was alarming.

It's actually not a mixed reef. Its supposed to be a SPS tank, however they are kicking the bucket lol. I have 4 zoas and a hammer, and a blastos all thriving and were given to me for free a while back. Basically test corals.

I just did nothing seemed rusted. Will resend again

No , no never noticed any difference with or without carbon.

You’re overdosed on several elements and low on others.

May I ask what you’re dosing?

So far , things are looking way better. Frankly, i can pinpoint exactly what is causing but lot of the stn has stopped. I honestly think that i was pulling in some nasties from the outside. Thinking back, a lot of my issues started happening after this. Lets hope the improvements are not temporary.
