0.31 po4 is not way too high. I keep my po4 0.15-0.30 as well, and I’ve never checked ph. I bet it’s just too close to you gyre. Try moving it before you mess with your chemistry.

.30 po4 not to be confused with .03, right ?
This is what you’re running in your acro tank? Do you get any growth?

As of Sunday
Alk 8.2
Cal 450
Mag ?
Ph ?
No3 25
Po4 0.21
K 380

Refreshing thread , having similar issues with a few sps. I notice as the lights get brighter in the morning, simultaneously 3-4 of the sps start emitting a milky wisp. Lighter to white tip.
Running 4 hydra 26 in a 5 ft tank, 4 t5 . Have not done a parr test. Doing the brs ab setting. Lights 9” above water. Sps in question about 12-14” below water line.
Recently I discovered a bad calcium test kit was an issue. Was testing at 340. Am making adjustments to raise.

1.025 salt
8.5 Kh
5-10 ppm no3
.04 - .06 po4
8.60. Ph ( if it matters )

my problem is I’m hand dosing everything right now. Kent superbuff / esv 2 part. Kent essential elements . Red Sea nutrition 2 part, reef roofs.
Running carbon in sock
Open for suggestions

Did you end up figuring out the issue? Starting to have this problem as well with a few of my acros

High Alk will cause SPS to STN from top down and your first sign of this is if you have montipora..they will lose tissue around edges are start fading out. Montis are a great indicator before SPS get hit...their like the canary in the cage for coal miners.
So if you don't have any montis...Just get two put them on disc on the sand. If issues they wl be the first. .check your Alk with a test kit adjust slowly...too high water changes. Too low add Alk part 1 5mil at a time and recheck daily.
