Staghorn Overgrowth.

I had Algae growing my Staghorn Coral, Dipped it in Hydrogen Peroxide to Kill the Algae. The Algae left Dead Spots on the Coral. Everyone was telling me to cut the dead out. After Five Months, the Coral is repairing itself, the brown areas have polyps growing on them. BTW, the RBT is not Stinging the Staghorn, it’s resistant to stinging.

No Vermetid Snails, they are small Tube Worms, they are from the Florida Gulf Rock I bought in 2001 or 2002

I think your case is the exception. Good work.

I had similar experience with I believe it is Oregon Tort stag. Part of it died and it did recover. But number of other acros never recovered unless I trimmed the dead portion.

Do keep an eye on it, I had few pieces that showed improvement after injury, and even grew and suddenly they died.
