Has anyone used the stainless thermowell from ETC for the Ranco temp controller? As you probably know the sensor that comes with the Ranco can't be submersed in water. You have to protect it with heat shrink tubing or the stainless thermowell tube.

thanks

I’ve had bad success with heat shrink tubing - even using sealant, they leaked after a few years.
Our facility has titanium thermistor wells on marine tanks, SS on FW. With SS on marine, watch for crevice corrosion - anywhere things go anerobic, rust will develop.
