Oh cool. Im nervous about magnets. I suppose it's silly seeing how I run mp10s and magnetic scrapers. I suppose it's fine so long as they are water tight for the long-haul.

Tank turned 2.5 years on the 23rd.

Waiting for ICP test in the mail and will send out for first ICP test.
I will be using Triton in LA.

Current tank parameter as of todays test.
Temp 77
SG 1.0265
Ph 7.9 morning 8.2 lights on
Alk Hanna 8.0 Salifert 7.6
Ca 410
Mag 1350
Po4 .037
No3-3
K 360-low but test expired in 2018.
Ordered a new K test kit.
K normaly runs 410.

All corals doing very well with good color.

Fuge macro algae is growimg fast.
Time to harvest some more chaeto.

Running 1/3 cup each of gfo, phosgaurd, rox carbon in my reactor. This is 2/3 less than what I was running before fuge came online 2 months ago.

My modified Skimz carx is working out nicely. The 6" unit has used about 5" of bones in the last 5 months since setup.

Still running 6 powerheads.
5 are on random and 1 6105 only runs when lights are on.
2 6095
2 6105
2 ow40

1 ow10 in the fuge.

Have not seen any monti nudis in awhile. They have done a number on my monti on the overflow. The jedi mind trick has not been touched though and is growing nicely with great color.

Green slimer has now grown into my surf and turf stag. I am watching it closely but its doing the same thing it did growing into the other acro.

Hairy cactus pavona has just about killed my chalice.

Fish invert list:
Feeding 8 cubes a day frozen with some larrys frozen too.
Feed some pellets about twice a week.
Convict tang
Tomini tang
2 clowns
2 blue eyed anthias
1 pajama cardinal
1 file fish
1 pixi hawk
6 blue green chromis

1 cleaner shrimp
3 pepermint shrimp
2 harliquin shrimp
Assorted snails 50+

Dosing 8ml EZ trace daily

A few pics from today.

I picked up this wild colony today.
Its in my frag system for at least a month.
It almost looks like a spathulata to me.
It is pinkish in color.
All the others were your standard green or brown.
This one has all polyps extended and look good.
My experiemce with wilds is if they are happy for a month then they will do well.
First pick is 20K
Second is 15K
Third is cell only

Triton test came back today and nothing out of place which is good. They provide a great service for the price of a frag, lol.

A few elements that were higher were the elements in the EZ trace I use. A couple others were also but not bad by my count.

I dose EZ to keep my Mag, K, and Iodine levels stable which were in range.

Elements higher in EZ were:
Boron 6 vs 4.5 recommended
Sulfate 1121 vs 900

Iodine was 49 vs 30-90.
Iodine is one element in EZ trace so im happy with the level.

Strontium was 15 and I target 8-10. I did switch strontium brands from ESV to Seachem as ESV was out and am back to ESV now. The Seachem was harder to dial in vs ESV and may have resulted in the higher reading.

My po4 level was:
My test with Hanna .031
Triton .037

I may reduce EZ trace from 8ml to 6ml a day.
I will keep my 12g WC once a month.

The Triton test was done a few days before my next WC.

Today I nuked some aptasia with calc paste.

I took 2 stag frags for my nano and put them into my frag system.
Also an Oregon tort that was in need of a trim. Just 2 small pieces.

Blue Matrix
Dark green stag
Oregon Tort

I was trying to take a frag of a red stag like coral with green base and the whole colony popped off.

Made some needed space for other coral growth.

First pic is the red whole colony.
Second is whats left. Just a few nubs.
Third is a couple pics of it in my frag system.
Just cell phone pics with flash.

Today I decided to take some frags. I started with the green slimer and noticed after someone in another thread said he had a colony that stn from the base when they touch.
Sure enough the slimer had started to stn.
So I had to get the chanel locks out to remove the no name colony and the the slimer.
I also took 2 WD frags as they were about to touch my pink foyd.
Pink floyd got a trim too.
A few others are touching and some getting close so I will be doing some trimming in the next few weeks.
First pic is the no name from my phone, no macro, reference for the size.
Second is it in my frag system along with the slimer.
Next 2 are before and after pic of it in my 120.

The Pink Floyd is a really nice piece, but I’m also loving all the stags. They hold a special place in my heart. :) I need to get the PF though.

Under the OR3 blue sky & blue plus only the pink floyd is very yellow.

Just put the Tunze nano rock up on the back wall. It will be a couple months before it colors up, lol.
I am rearanging my frag system and adding 2 more 6x11 bashsea racks.
I will remove a few rocks to go into my 18" nano stag build.
Took WD frags and am going to grow it out along with some higher end frags with color.

The 30 remote fuge is holding po4 at .05 & no3 <2. Time to remove the po4 reducing media as its been 40 days now since last change of 1/3 cup of gfo, phosgaurd, carbon, each.

I have taken some macro and added it to my 45's 40 breeder sump with a small led light. Po4 is always less than .1 but only 3 fish, clown, 6 line, and diamond goby.
No po4 reducing media just carbon.

Need to trim. Anyone local want free frags!
Recent pic.
