Pick up a small diamond goby and a firefish for the 30g remote fuge.
System now supports 17 fish.

One Jebao ow-40 controller died today.
Replaced with new controller.
This is the first issue I have had with any Jebao products. It was in service about 1 year. Controller lights started flashing and then quit. Pump is still going strong.

Today I decided to take some frags. I started with the green slimer and noticed after someone in another thread said he had a colony that stn from the base when they touch.
Sure enough the slimer had started to stn.
So I had to get the chanel locks out to remove the no name colony and the the slimer.
I also took 2 WD frags as they were about to touch my pink foyd.
Pink floyd got a trim too.
A few others are touching and some getting close so I will be doing some trimming in the next few weeks.
First pic is the no name from my phone, no macro, reference for the size.
Second is it in my frag system along with the slimer.
Next 2 are before and after pic of it in my 120.

Wow, it’s amazing to see how this build progressed in just under 3 years! Keep it up man, I definitely wanna do something like this soon too!

Couple pics of my 30g remote fuge. I really like diamond gobies.
I have not touched the sand as it keeps it white as can be.
Macro is growing fast.
I now have a small led in my frags sump with cheato, ogo, and dragons breath.
Both system now run no po4 reducing media with po4 running
.04-07.
Im not a fan of light in my sumps but the frag system only has a Tunze 9410dc and the retun pump.
I need a different light but this led does grow cheato and coralline very well.
Last two pics are my frags
sump.
I also moved a green stylo or poci, not sure which to the fuge. Its in the upper left corner.

Yesterday and today cleaned both ow-40's, 6105's, and 6095's.
I also removed and cleaned my carx. It was down about 50% media.
Cleaned and refilled.
Removed a decent size Oregon tort from main to 18" nano.
It was loose and I replaced it with a stag from my frag system.
Need to nuke a few aptasia tomorrow.

So I set my carx back up and it was pulling air so I checked it and found the issue.

Also noted that when I origanally set it up it was to be reverse flow.
Not sure what happened but it was not reverse flow, lol.
Anyway after correcting the air issue I did switch the hoses around so its now a true reverse flow. It ran the other way for over a year with obvouisly no issues.

Here is a few pics for the all blue club.
1 Orphek blue sky
1 Orphek blue plus

Did you add some Orphek light bars? I need to find a good actinic light bar or similar. Miss my T5’s. I thought the Radions would have so much more pop and better color, but to be honest…not really. Not what I expected at all. The corals seem to be responding well to them though. Just not enough actinic pop. My Purple Dottyback looks like a pink color instead of the deep glowing popping purple I got under the T5’s with actinic.

Pic from the couch a few minutes ago. Just from my cell no macro.

You should buy 1 XR15 pro for that macro tank. Would be perfect! Be cool to have it since you have the Halides on the other tank. Just to compare.

I run 1 OR3 blue sky and 1 blue plus.

In my other 2 systems I run 16HD's now.
2 on my nano cube and 3 on my frag system.
They are working out quite well and I replaced my Halide on the frag system with them.

Nice, nothing beats halides IMO,, but man are they bulky. No controllability either. HD’s work very well for a lot of reefers. I’m sure you’re happy to have the control and sleekness!

Yes they are nice. I like the ramp up and down. They look cool too as compaired to the bulk, lol.

I am removing a few colonies from my 120 and moving a few around. I cant work in the tank without breaking stuff.

I have quite a few mujanos's, paly's and clove polyps, and disco's I am trying to make a dent in by using kalk paste. Its a slow process.

I will get some pics up when I have
Things in place.

I went back to 7dkh from 8-8.5 and cant keep up with the coralline growth on the front glass.

All my systems are now 7-7.5 dkh.
Nothing wrong with higher alk but my system just runs better at closer to seawater alk levels.

My frag system is full and I will be taking around 20 frags to lfs to sell.

Just saw this. I do not run a feed pump. My reactor is setup like a Tunze. The recirc pump has a manifold that has co2 input, co2 recirc and sump water input line.
The input line is controlled with a Tunze scew valve. You just tighten down the screw to restrict the flow which controls the effluent rate.

Nice,

I saw that Tunze did a collaboration with Aquarium Plants and made a new Carbon doser. Should be a nice product.
