Plugged reefbreeder RP-M's in just to let them run. Will play with programming once I get stuff in tank. Low profile and very quiet, no complaints so far.

I cant figure out whats causing it but tank has looked kind of hazy since i set it up, wanted to run something to polish the water but all I have on hand is chemipure blue didnt want to overstrip whatever phos. I might have had so tested out my new hannah checker, it showed 0 so im assuming that means my marco rock doesnt have anything to leach. Ive only been running one filter sock added a second finer one. Have to pick up some carbon next time out and water change this weekend.

Checked parameters for first time with the live aquaria salt.
Salinty 1.026 milwaukie
Alk 10 hannah
Ca. 490 salifert
Mag 1500 salifert
No3. 10
Po3. .14
The big 3 seem a little high but not horribly so, higher than they say it mixes up at. Have to watch that po3 creeping up slowly was just 0 a few days ago.

Decided to try the coraline in a bottle, got 2 strains and put in today, we'll see what happens. I know all tanks are different but my 40br took forever to get coraline going and it used older rock from previous tanks that had coraline on them. Figure with marcorock it might be forever.

Man what happened to coral prices? Havent bought any in a long time and they seem sky high especially torch and hammers. Been shopping around at online vendors and so far havent found one place that has enough of what I want to justify paying shipping.
Need to get some fishies but dont have enough trust in my non existent skills in qt to actually pull the trigger and buy any.
Tanks just cruising along and doing good. Starting to get some uglies on the rock. The haziness I had before finally went away. As of now just feeding and filling ATO.

How do you like the tank? I’m thinking about down grading and the waterbox 100.3 is what I’m planning to grab. How easy is setup and leveling?

I love the tank. Very nicely built. I had a few questions before buying and always got a quick response. I watched the video from either their website or you tube about stand build so it was a piece 9f cake. I would definitely buy one again.

Got my red sea screen top put together. Frame looks awesome screen not so much. I rescreened windows before and they came out good but with all the corners for my lights and overflow I couldnt get it tight. They gave me enough mesh and spline to do 2 my size (24×36) but it was folded in a couple spots not just rolled and that didnt help. Might wait til a hot sunny day and lay mesh out for a while and try it again. I also seen where brs used clips to hold it tight i should try that too. Seen on BRS facebook they are looking into stocking black mesh. Like the looks of that.

Got my skimmer today, RO Essence s130. Good looking(lol) easy to put together. Super quiet
Very happy with it so far. Running wide open for break in so it's overflowing of course, not sure if I should try to adjust just yet. Says run at 7"-8.7" depth my sump runs at 10" so need to figure out something for that. Eshopps/BRS sells adjustable stand for $50!!!!!! its just an acrylic disc with 3 plastic legs. I dont think eggcrate will work its got 4 rubber feet it stands on. Thought about one of these

Adjusted valve both ways as far as it will go still going crazy. Pulled drain plug on collection cup and just letting it run and break in. Waiting for BRS to process a refund then I'll order something to raise it up.

I've got the same skimmer on my new Reefer 250. Haven't actually started running it yet, cycle is just completing, but the few times I turned it on it overflowed a ton as well. Luckily my skimmer chamber has an adjustable baffle and is within the 7-8" range of the skimmer, so I can probably adjust to compensate. Was thinking I might still make a small stand with some eggcrate (I have some smaller hole eggcrate that I think it'd sit well enough on).

Hadn't though about using a bio-block to raise it though, so you've got me considering ordering one to use...

Hope this isnt a sign of things to come, thought ato reservoir looked lower than it should be yesterday, Was again today and sump level was too high. So ato mustve overpumped about 2 gallons over two days. Scooped as much as i could out of return chamber and things are looking normal again. Ato hasnt ran since Ive been watching it, of course. XP Aqua duetto ATO only been running about a month, wiped sensors off with my fingers maybe that helped. Salinty only dropped from 1.025 to 1.024, that shouldnt be too bad. Corals still look good.

ATO seems to be acting normal today. Wish I knew what caused it. Wonder if bubbles could do it? Skimmer still overflowing like crazy even tho waterbox has foam between skimmer/ return chambers theres bubbles all over even where my socks are. Got my marinepure block today to use to raise skimmer so try to get skimmer tuned tommorow
