Sticker shock

So the LFS opened back up to customers inside the store.
Can't believe the prices on livestock.
Blue Chromis $3 pre-pandemic now $9 per.
Coral Beauty $23 pre-pandemic now $45.
I quit looking at prices after that.
Talked to the owner. Their shipping cost went from $5/lb to $12/lb.
Hope prices drop by time I get around to that predator tank build.

I would expect that with the airline issues. Hopefully if/when every gets semi normal then the prices will readjust

Must suck for people setting up a new tank but I imagine for the majority of us we just do not buy much livestock after the tank is established. Small win right? ;-)

I'm not keeping my hopes up. Remember when pizza stores started charging delivery fees due to high gas prices? Gas prices have lowered and they still kept the fees.

The fees and tip cost more then the pizza.
