Hi All - I have a Waterbox 20 cube that has been setup for ~6 months so far. Tank has been pretty stable and the newer SPS frags I have put in have been doing well thus far. Looking for some thoughts on what I should do next. Interested in adding a fish (potentially if I can find room in apartment for a QT tank) and some coral for additional color. Running the tank with an AI 16 Prime & Nero 3.

Any thoughts on what would be good to add (goby, BTA, misc. coral additions, etc.)?

Current Stock List:

Fish/Inverts:
- 2 Clownfish
- 1 Derasa clam
- 2 Trochus snails
- 1 Tiger Conch
- 2 Nassarius snails
- 1 bumblebee snail
- 2 small hermit crabs

Coral:
- Bunch of Xenia
- Stick of gorgonian
- Hammer (1 head currently splitting, right side rock)
- War favia frag (front, sandbed)
- Candycane frag (2 heads, sandbed)
- Blue Goni frag (sandbed)
- Dunca (2 heads, sandbed)
- Red monti cap
- Green acro frag
- Two kenya tree pieces (one front one back)
- One random zoa frag
- GSP (back right island rock)

*Ignore the long dead SPS piece at the top. Was ambitious 1 month in

Looking great for 6 months in!

I’d say you can get away with 2 more fish of some sort.
Good options are:
Pygmy or pink streaked wrasse
Royal gramma
Firefish
Clown goby
Shrimp goby + pistol shrimp
Coral croucher
Neon goby
Rainfords/hectors goby

I’d normally suggest extra cuc, but what you have already looks to be doing more than enough on the algae and detritus! Anything else would really just be for extra movement. Skunk cleaner or serpent star would be a fun addition though. They are fun to watch go about the tank.

As for corals, whatever floats your boat! I’m a big euphilia fan, so I always like to go for those. For your tank, some favias scattered around would add some nice color to some of the rocky areas.

Thanks @Sharkbait19. Thoughts on a BTA? Have really wanted one for the tank but have held off given their desire to wander around the tank
Looks like your clowns have already set up shop in the frog!
That’s a tough one. I personally wouldn’t. It seems like you need at least 30 gallon footprint to keep it from getting in the way of corals. Since you want more corals, I’d steer clear as they get big and bulldoze what’s in their path.
You can try rock flowers though. They don’t have much of a sting and don’t go moving around the tank the way bta do.
