Hello,

I am new to the form and will be upsizing my Reefer XL300(80gl) to their ReeferS 850G2 (224gl). I have been contemplating fish stock. I would like a blond naso, whitetail Kole, and a Purple tang. My second choice would be the Blond Naso, Purple Tang, and Magnificent Fox Face. Is this a realistic group of fish in that size tank? I currently have 3 yellow Coris (male & 2 females), a melanurus, a starry blenny, a six-line, Royal Gramma, 2 Yasha that have paired with a tiger pistol shrimp, a pink spot goby, and 4 chromis.

Looks like a Reefer 850 has a 6x2x2 display, so we can treat it like stocking a standard 180 gallon.

My opinion is that, ideally, the Naso would have 8 feet. It's up to you though.

As for mixing tangs/rabbits, I'm confident that the blonde Naso + white tail + purple will coexist just fine. You could also add the magnificent foxface to the group.

You should be ok with a tang and rabbit in that size tank. I have a spotted rabbit fish and a sailfin in a 125 for now. They are good with each other but it’s the green chromis’s that pick on them
