So I have a 40 gallon AIO that I made from a Facebook marketplace place find. I want to diversify the tank a little, and I am pretty sure I am fairly light on my stocking currently. I also want to give the aquarium a little more movement far as fish and inverts are concerned. I was hoping to get some advice as far as utility and movement. Below is my current stocking list.

1 peppermint shrimp
1 rainbow BTA
2 clowns
1 Bangai Cardinal
1 lawnmower blenny
1 spiny astra snail
1 astra snail
Some random small snails that have a striped curly banded shell (no clue what these are but are beast at cleaning)
Zoas and palythoas is most of my coral and 1 dragon favia (all small plugs no real colonies yet, except the Pandora)

I am looking for free swimming fish, but also like reef safe crabs or stars if such a thing really exists. I know crabs are going to crab.

A cherub dwarf angel might be a good choice! They are only about 3 inches. Would not do any other dwarf angel in your size tank cause they get bigger than the cherub.
