Unusual necrosis pattern there. Has that piece been in your tank a while?
Are you hitting zeros from Hanna on PO4? Nitrates?

What is your fish feeding routine? Type & amount. And tank volume?

Do you have any necrosis down lower around the base? Would be nice to rule out flatworms (AEFW) if we can.

hi i feed 3/4 times a day..500 liter tank 12 fish, boxer shrimp few snails.
my alk sits at 8.8, ca is 450, mg 1380, salinity 35ppt. no3 at 2ppm and po4 0.01(now started to dose). no other issues with corals. no issues on the coral photo'd. thanks

As you feed that often, I am not overly concerned with low residual nutrients then. Unless the fish are small, they are producing enough ammonia to feed the SPS.

Got any dwarf angels? My coral beauty nips.

nope..tangs, clowns and anthias..i run ozone for 1 hour during the night. i use a little gfo which i may take out to allow the nutrients to build up..not sure whats going on..will keep updating. thanks

I don't think ozone could cause this? I also bubble scrub and I'm slowly raising alk..

so i have notticed a few more coral issues similar to above...my nutrients are now ok 4pmm no3 and 0.04 po4.
Please see the photos seem to be little chunks out of the stylo and white patches on the
