Strange growth on Banggai cardinalfish

Notice this "growth" on my Banggai Cardinalfish. He's the only fish in my tank where this is happening. Any idea what it is and how I can treat him?

This looks to be bacterial but pic very fuzzy to confirm. Can you post a clearer pic or even a video?

This does look to be bacterial and may have stemmed from an injury and may or may not heal well but treat in a separate tank or container using Seachem Neoplex or even Kanaplex

That looks like a tumor. However, those grow slowly over a span of weeks or more - how long has it had this?

Most bacterial diseases are “erosive” that is, they eat the infected tissue, making a hole / eroded area. Tumors are “additive”, they grow larger over time. Very few other diseases are additive - there is a rare fungal disease that is, but those lesions are more gray in color. Lymphocystis also causes additive growth, but again, that takes weeks to grow thus large, and it isn’t in a common location for that.
