Strange growths on Anemones

Does anyone know what these could be growing on my Anemones?

Are you able to circle area you are referring to? (Paint program will allow you to draw circle)

That is very strange...almost looks like its trying to expel something.
3 different nems doing the same thing?
Have you fed them anything recently?
Current lighting and parameters?
And have tou changed anything or started anything new?

I have about 7 nems with same thing. Haven't fed them in a while and haven't changed anything in the tank. I've been fighting higher nitrates, around 30-40 ppm.

Well they like it a lil dirty so thats not it...no change in temp or salinity recently?
Lighting looks fine...you run your uv a bit higher than me but i dont think thats the culprit...

+1..... anemones are made up of cells and simple polyp-style body with two tissue layers and a central gut cavity. The anemone's mouth leads to its gut. The "mouth" of the anemone is surrounded by stinging tentacles which are used to disarm food -- such as plankton and small animals . These cells will change their shape in response to food and water conditions in which is what you see.

Sorry guys but ive been growing nems for years...only seen one bubble his mouth like that and he melted shortly after.
I dont think its a normal response.
