I finally ordered an aquabiomics test today. Will update when I have results.
Seems like there is a lot of this going around right now. From everything I've read, it sounds like there are a few possibilities for this bubbling and/or tuliping of polyps.
Here is my thoughts on results and course of action.
1: SCTLD Positive. ----> Treat with Cipro or Amoxicillin.
SCTLD negative:----> Send out ICP for possible contaminants. Treat as necessary.

2:Suspect larval trematode (Some type of fluke or flatworm) ----> Ivermectin? Or some other type of anti-parasitic. Tank has already been treated recently for bugs with interceptor.

3:Give up and just let whatever happens, happen....

I'm not really sure what causes this, seems to start from some kind of stress, and proliferate from carbon dosing + possibly amino? Who knows?? Anyway, When I would put an infected frag in a friends system, the bubbling would completey stop and the Coral would look normal in 6 weeks or so. For me, this ruled out a parasite, and if out was bacterial then his system did not sustain this bubbling bacteria if that's a thing.

At the time I had this happing all over in a nano SPS tank. I was in the middle of a move and completely started the nano over with new water + same rock scrubbed of algae. Anything with bubble growth stopped and started growing again. I haven't carbon dosed since then and no aminos. All corals now transferred over to a 200g and growing bubble-free :D

First few pics from the summer, last few pics now.

I don't dose anything but Kalk in this tank, so that rules out dosing.
From what I read, the trematode is some sort of fluke. If that's the case, I'm wondering if going fallow would cure it.
I'm not about to try and catch every fish in that tank though!

You can dose your display with Prazipro it won’t hurt anything! I’ve treated my display full of sps and clams without any issues! Just leave your skimmer running without the cup.
