have a tang that eats mysis, rods, etc. Anything meaty.
Won't touch greens... what are the tricks these days to get tangs on to prepared greens? Already tried strapping nori onto a rock.

Try different varieties of algae sheets. Cut them into smaller strips. Leave them available for him, but don't worry to much about it.

MY Purple Tang and PBT will only eat dried algae if it is in small pieces, like 1/8 inch square or smaller.

Cutting into pieces less than 1/4" and then soaking in water and breaking apart further with baster into small pieces worked.
After a few days of this he started taking larger pieces.

This is exactly what I had to do to get a scopus to eat nori.
