Siphon detritus from sump


That's the plan with my water changes, shut off the return pump, heaters, etc. Drain the sump, vacuum it and wipe down. Fill up with new salt water... BAM! Water change and sump cleaning all at once in 20 minutes. I hate detritus in a sump!

Turkey baster for spot feeding and blasting rock. $1 store plastic mixing bowl and pasta strainer for dipping corals. Super glue gel for glueing corals. Electrical conduit for mounting lights. Razor blades for scraping, fragging, cutting ect.

Used to use immersion blender to mix up two part dosing solutions before the calcium reactor! No more wooden spoons and forearm cramps lol.
