stupid question...

I bought a mars aqua light from eBay. If I want to set the light..say at 50% white...I would set it at 50% but if I turn the blues on to ..let's say 10% does that bump the light output to 60%..? This might br a dumb question..lol

No. You want to set each light color to what you want your tank to look like, its not a matter of bumping one to a certain percentage then adding the other. When you read people telling about their lighting %, its about what each color is set to.

But I do like how it looks with the blues all the way up .I was just worried that the blues all the way would be too much light.

Using the Blues will increase PAR.
Most won't turn their Blues all the way up, most I know only have em at 60-70%
