I’m very, very tired of suction cup “floating “ loose. I’ve wondered if I could superglue them to the inside of the aquarium glass. ?
Anyone tried it??
 
Use magnet mounted items.
Suction cups in saltwater always fail eventually.

Gluing a suction cup to the glass ( your display tank?) with superglue would be beyond ugly imo.
 
Agreed, mag is the best option. Having said that not all items are available with mags. I may try gluing mags on them.

Which things are you having issues with?
There are so many diy options people have come up with here on R2R, maybe someone has a solution you can use?
 
Heater and flow pumps. Some times a air line
