I have a few Acropora pieces that I'd like to know what species/genus they are, and it got me thinking. Instead of creating another post on the SPS sub section just for my corals, what if there was a completely separate sub section for ID'ing certain corals? For example, there could be a section for Acropora ID, and within this section, there could be an on going thread specifically for Valida, Microlados, staghorn etc. with pictures and such.
It would be a good place to go for a quick reference, as opposed to having to search and sift through different threads, or making a new thread for every time you get a no-named piece.
Who would be in charge of moderating the threads to make sure incorrect coral photos are not pasted to the wrong thread? Idk, but just throwing it out there.
