Hi @RedSeaKev i am trying to convert my 625 G2 from a single to a double return pump.

a rep told me that I needed two of part: R42348G2, which I believe is labeled for the 750xxl, but can supposedly be used for 625xxl as well.

I am wondering if the two I received are missing a gasket or oring of some kind?

see below — my other return piece connected via a gasket that insterted into the return pipe in the overflow, but this price just is hard plastic on hard plastic? Of course it leaks, shouldn’t there be a rubber seal of some kind?

Thank, please let me know your thoughts

It may work (Red Sea indicates that part fits the 750/900). You have one of the newer G2s so I'm not sure what (if anything) may have changed with respect to the plumbing. But yes, on my 750 there's a gasket/o-ring on the optional pair of single pump adapters (vs. the dual).
