Sump set up.

So have a few questions as I’m setting the sump up to hard plumb. 1) can heaters be put in the Refugium section and run ok when I add kato, or it be better to be in skimmer section. 2) after cycling when would you add the kato to start the Refugium. 3) looking at prob running a carbon reactor later down the line, can I plumb this all in when I start and run canister empty with no issues.

1. Yes. I run my heater in the refugium. It sits below the chaeto
2. Took me 3 tries to get chaeto growing. Tank needs to have enough nutrients...I'd wait a couple months.
