What size pump?

As far as what? DC vs AC? I like my DC so well I've contemplated swapping out my mag drive on another tank that there is nothing wrong with. With them being variable speed I can control the flow with my apex. AC pumps are loud, expensive to run, and you can't decide how hard you want it to run. For instance "feed mode" stalls the pump for 15 minutes, Ramps back up slow so it down so it doesn't freak the fish out as bad, and I have it running at 55%. You can set it to run slower at night, etc. And on my power bar I can visually see the cost difference. (I have kilowatts per hour configured in). It's a no brainer once you experience the difference. At 55% you litterly can't hear it run. What's the difference in a DC pump and other pumps?
you need to calculate your head pressure.. Pipe size, length, fittings, bends, etc before picking a pump size. That makes all the difference. What size pump?
