I picked up a sun coral a couple of months back, after teaching it when to eat I thought all would be easy from there on out. I try to feed each mouth twice a week but the colored flesh and mouths are still receding. Ideas?

2 heads show the skeleton and the pink is receding between the heads see pictureGreat corals! I love mine. I would suggest more feeding. They're hungry little things. Try once a day. That's what I do and the coral is happy. Also- from the pic it doesn't look abnormal...are you seeing skeleton? Sometimes the mouths will sink in like they appear in your picture.
Ok I will try that, would feeding this way be permanent or just temporary until the tissue grows back? BTW I really like your youtube series, you have a refreshing and simple approach on your systems. You should try feeding it several times per session. Feed it, wait five minutes, feed it again, wait 10 minutes, feed it again. The more you feed them, the better they do, so feeding like this each day would help them significantly. They survive on food alone.
