It should hang on, but you’ll need to feed it. The tentacles come out at night, and if you keep trying to spot feed during the day around the same time it should open during the day too around that time.

They require feeding .
and can be trained to open at a specific time but naturally after lights out .
Cut a 2L soda bottle in half and use it to cover over the colony feed within that bottle to keep food in the area .

they do well under a shelf or cave out of direct lighting

good luck !

Not looking good. Sorry.

These guys are more difficult to keep as they need to be fed. I do not normally keep these guys as I am not set up as a NPS system. Good luck! Hoping a more experienced person with NPS can help you.
i actually got them intentionaly, i love feeding coral.

I'm trying Corlalific delight. I don't have anything big enough to put around it in the tank but I did put it in an old API tropical flakes container with that and puffed around it's really puffed up now not completely open but puffed up so that's a good sign right

New question as it looks like it's trying to open there are some yellow dots were I don't think they should be as if there not part of the tentacles is there anything that could be eating this and killing it do they have any natural like creatures that eat them like nudies or anything

Do you have a pic? Mine was buried by my pistol shrimp I couldn't find it and the coral had those dots on it before eventually dying. Is it opening at night?

Those don't look like parasites but look similar to what happened to mine. I would watch those and continue feeding it.

In order for it to accept food ,
It’s polyps need to come out .
start slow broadcasting food .
it should eventually fully open at the same time every day .
