The sun blaze t5 fixtures that BRS sells I got a 2 bulb going over a 50 rubber maid 10 inch water depth and want to add a reefbrite strip, they come with l shape brackets to mount to t5 fixtures anyone ever do that? Is there a way to mount it in the middle of should I just mount it on the side of the fixture. O my growing zoas, shrooms.

I have the same light but in a 6 bulb format. Not sure about the spacing but would suggest putting on the sides and not the middle. They are small but could block light from it and defeat the purpose of having a t5 fixture in the first place. I would be concerned about the heat as well with that option. Just my 2 cents. I put one on each side of mine. Hope this helps.

Yes it can. I have had one on it to start and offset the mounting point on the hanging to help with the light being directed downward. It's a little tricky but I got it to work.
