Sunglasses were my answer

I have always struggled to get pictures that accurately reflected what my tank looked like. Today I walked in with sunglasses on and noticed no blue. So I took a pic through the lens and it turned good! I have heard of using orange safety glasses but I didn’t have any. Never thought if my sunglasses.

Anyways....here’s my tank.

40 breeder about 7 months old.

What kind of sunglasses, I have a few polorized ones and they don't seam to make a difference.

Sunglasses work great, but they need to be the brown or amber lenses. Brown polarized lenses would probably be best, you just have to be sure to align them parallel to the floor to ensure the glare is reduced properly. If you have the lenses crooked they will not reduce the glare properly.

They are Oakley’s. Not polarized, more of a brown tint.

Here are a couple I Just took of mine. The first is without the sunglasses and the second is with. Nothing else changed, taken a few seconds apart.

I feel left out now all my sunglasses just seamed to make mine worse, even those with yellow/amber tints.

For $30 you can get an actual filter set for your phone that has both yellow and orange lenses which can be combined. Super sleek and easy to use, no fussing about with sunglasses! Although it definitely is cool that they do the same thing! As a photographer though I like streaming :)

Yup I actually wear sunglasses in home when I have a head ache and the blues lights bother my eyes. They filter out the blues almost completely.

Yea works well for those super heavy or all blue light pictures.
