Hope the fish does OK. That's too expensive of a fish to lose.

To me that definitely looks like constipation, not a swim bladder issue (as seen by the fact it can swim without any issues). I would take that fish out of that tank and put it in it's own tank and treat with Epsom salt.

BTW, how did you get a juvenile Chevron tang with the Hawaii ban in place?

Epsom salts do NOT work in marine tanks, that is a freshwater tonic only. Magnesium sulfate is already the fourth highest salt in our seawater mixes, adding a little bit more won't do anything.

so epsom salt and peas wouldn’t work for my tang considering it is a marine species??

Would love to hear how your yurple is doing. If he didn't make it, Biota has them back in stock for a cool $7500. Ouch.
