Too bad about the wild colony. Luckily, you'll be getting plenty of new cool frags next month at the RRC meeting!

nah....i dont have any room! lol really all i want is another nice looking clam that i can put beside my current one.

there are still about 2 or 3 sps frags out there that i still want, but they are VEEEERRRY hard to come by.

#1 - ORA Bali deepwater (yet to be released apparently)
#2 - icefire echinata......or other blue multi color echinata

i had the Kohen's echinata....that is *supposed* to be green w/ blue polyps......but i never saw the blue polyps....they were always brown.

and i also had a 1cm nubbin' of the icefire echinata....but that didn't make it.

i go the blue polyps out of it my sticking it a foot under a 250w pheonix. it looks pretty good, light mint green with blue corallites

nope, i traded it to someone b/c i was getting tired of it. figured if i ever wanted to try it again its not that hard to get ahold of it again.

i tried high light, and low light.....could never get any polyp extension either. i only saw a VERY light blue polyp when i first got it.

btw....you need to show a pic of yours! lol ;)

two more, one of these you can see the green highlights in the coralite

these pics are hard to take, the light is right over it, so it was hard to get right above it without darkening it.

Yeah! I agree that one is sweet! What is it?

thats my acro saramentosa colony. its turned into a dark green b/c the light bulb needs to be changed.

but the thing i can't stand about it, is that it ONLY looks good from the top down, or if you blow on it to get the big brown ugly polyps to retract.

its in the sand bed b/c i'm thinking about selling it.

here are some other pics of it:
