I did a 50g water change yesterday and I have water mixing as we speak to set up a hospital tank. All of the fish that survived seem to be doing OK. Although they have ich, they're eating strong and swimming normally, so they should pull through with a little time. Tomorrow I'll have the hospital tank set up and I'll start treating with copper...

Yeah, I really lucked out! They were my first choice too and I would have sworn that they'd be gone by the time my pick came around!

Picked up a two barred rabbitfish from a local reefer today who was downsizing from a 125g to a BC18. Hopefully he'll get some work done in the algae removal department seeing as my tangs are slacking.

I'm starting to consider expanding my horizons of inhabitants after losing the fish in last month's storm. Right now I'm looking into possibly adding a small Aussie harlequin tusk & a regal angel along with a couple other wrasses in my restocking adventure....

If I end up going with the tusk & angel, I'll move my clams into the frag tank if need be. The regal angel & harlequin tusk wrasse are two of my favorite fish in the hobby and I've always wanted them. Most likely, I'll add a regal angel, but forego the tusk. I've seen several tanks that have housed larger angels with clams without any problems as long as the fish were well fed, but I realize that this is a fish by fish basis. The tusk would most likely nip at the clams and would also decimate my CUC, so I'll probably hold off unless I decide to set up a FOWLR.
